CMU's Institute of Simulations and Games is proud to host a two day conference with guest facilitators from the Institute of Play (, which is a not-for-profit design studio that pioneers new models of learning and engagement. Using games, play, and the principles that underlie them, the Institute of Play designs experiences that make learning irresistible. Their first project was the design of the innovative New York City public school, Quest to Learn. During this conference, attendees will learn more about using games in the classroom, see examples of games that have been created by the Institute of Play, and create a game of their own to use in their own classes. For more information about this conference, visit the CMU Institute for Simulations and Games website.
